Lewis seems to be popping up a lot for me lately. It almost seems serendipitous considering I'm about to finish rereading The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
Duane, I would really like to reread that series. It was magical as a child, and I know it would take on a completely different meaning for me today. I'm pretty sure I still have it somewhere. Simon Haisell here on Substack turned me on to audio books, but I think I'd have to hold those in my hand. Hope you're doing well this week.
I know exactly what you mean. That's why I decidd to start rereading the series as well. It was partly inspired because I've read the Magician's trilogy twice and it's deeply influenced by Lewis' Narnia novels. It's been really great revisiting the series and seeing them in a new way.
Thank you! That photo was a bit of a once-in-lifetime, the bubble just happened to settle on the snow without bursting, the sun just happened to barely send a little ray through the evergreen boughs for a hint of sparkle, so I'm glad to have it! :)
